Rylo has a 180° mode that will give you a higher quality stabilized capture through just the front or back lens. The best scenarios for 180° mode are when Rylo is chest mounted, where one lens might be blocked, or when only one perspective is needed.
Enabling 180° Mode
To enable this mode, you'll want to tap on your mode button on the front of your Rylo until you see the 180° icon on your Rylo’s screen.
You can also enable this mode through the Remote Control function if you have BLE enabled on your phone. Simply tap on 'Change Mode' until you see the 180° icon on the LED screen.
Your Rylo can capture from either the front or back lens in 180° mode. Be sure you’re selecting the proper lens before hitting record!

Reframing
Much like 360° mode, you can pan around your content to select the frame/angle that you'd like to export. Note that we’re unable to set points. We do suggest zooming in slightly, as the larger frame can make the image appear less stabilized.
Some Android devices lack the processing power to export a 180° video from our app. To see if your device has the hardware necessary for 180° mode, download the Rylo app from the Google Play Store.
Note: As we're only capturing with one lens, FrontBack edits are disabled in-app.
